When I had the opportunity to go to Qingdao on some business recently, one of my goals was to get Bathing Beach #1 to take a selfie. This beach makes the international news every year because of the throngs of people that come to it. Though I lived in Qingdao for 4 years, I never actually saw this beach at the height of tourist season…because who wants to cramped up together with 100,000 other people? But as I see it hit the news every year, I wanted to say that I’ve been there. So, that’s what I did. I joined in the masses.
